Noisy vent

In my new house there is a vent that spins around in the ceiling next to the shower. In the last few days it has started to rattle really loudly, I think because of the stormy weather. I can't see a way to turn it off; it seems to work automatically. It's keeping me awake, what can I do?

Cover it… if the wind can’t blow through it then it won’t flap the flaps so flappily.
we used to shower cap and elastic band over ours until husband went full mcguyvor and built a wooden thing that comes out and somehow fits over it for hooley days x good luck!
