Hello all

I know a lot of post have been made about people wanting advice to move out of London. So I have read some on here which has been helpful but I was wanting to ask for advice also because I am process of buying.

I have seen a house in chesterfield, Wakefield and Kiveton park. I need somewhere close enough to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham so I have settled for these places. However, having lived in London throughout I am not sure where is best.

I would also like an area with some diversity because we are of black background and with good activities like football around as I have 2 sons. Secondary schools would also be highly needed as one of my sons will be need a school place next academic year.

Thank you all
Happy new year in advance

Just a couple of, fairly important, points:

  1. What's your budget.
  1. Where do you need to work?

I will be WFH most times with perhaps 1-2 days in the office. However, I will get a job closer to which ever area I move to as my profession is in high demand and they are always hiring.

My budget is £230 for a 3 bed.

Thanks
