Where would you buy a wonderful house, with a huge garden or lots of land with £1m or so in England?

Most places outside of cities or the south

I'd quite like this one it's got a stream through the gardens and lots of space for friends and family in the house: www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/135259535

What about Penshurst in Kent? It's a village but very close to the towns of Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. You have properties like Penshurst Place, Hever Castle and Chiddingstone Castle all within easy reach.

A smaller home but loads of outdoor space.

I found this property on the Rightmove Android app and wanted you to see it: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/137505938

Check out this 4 bedroom cottage for sale on Rightmove

4 bedroom cottage for sale in Doubleton Lane, Penshurst, TN11 for £925,000. Marketed by James Millard Estate Agents, Hildenborough

I'd also suggest Northumberland. I love this house in Hexham for £1.1:

These are wonderful. And yes, I was just saying while on new years day walk with my family, that I'd love to be close to a national park. I'd always loved Richmond Park but for me that is lottery winning money!
