Just locked myself out

Leaving for Xmas dinner at a friends house and have just managed to lock myself out of my flat.

Thankfully, my next door neighbours found me in a blubbering mess and randomly knows a locksmith. Apparently he will be here in 35mins.

God know how much it will cost on Xmas day. Can't believe I did this. So stupid!

give your neighbour a spare from now on

I hope the locksmith takes pity on you with the charge Flowers

Can't believe it, the locksmith turned up within 20 mins, got me back in, changed the lock and only charged me £80 😳

I tipped him £50, I thought the charge would have been in the £100's. There are still good people in the world...

Get a key safe- very useful.

So glad you got back in! Very generous of you to tip him like that, and I'm sure he will have been extremely grateful.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of your Christmas!

Blimey, I paid £70 four years ago on a week day just to get me back in.

Good people - both of you.
