Hi, I’m looking at having a full wall cabinet & shelving built in the lounge similar to this. Trying to save as much money as I can so looking at installing pre-built cabinets from Ikea or kitchen cabinets as an option alongside a bespoke build which is obvs £££.

Not done anything like this before - would really anppreciate any experience, tips, do’s and dont’s, signposting etc. it’s not a huge room, similar size to the photo. Thanks!

If you or your partner are DIY inclined, building them yourself saves £££'s and you can have them exactly the way you want

There's a Facebook page called "Ikea hacks" or something, who love problems like this. Try them.

I would really love to do this, possibly in the future, I’m we have a little one so at the moment it would be a bit tricky.

These are really similar to gplan form 5 units. I'd look to see if you can get hold of some, they're really well made and likely to be a cheaper option.
