I'll start.

To be homeowners; we have a collective age of 89 so it would be quite nice for that to happen some time very soon. The reason we haven't done it before now is because we were both single, not earning much, and living in the SE.

For said home not to have demonic heat fluctuations, nor to be full of flies for 3/4rds of the year.

To get out of the county we currently live in, and either closer to the county my heart has been taken by, or the one that's more practical for the other half's career.

Hi. Like a few others have mentioned, we are aiming to be mortgage free this year. This is tied in with a big relocation that will allow a complete change of lifestyle. I wish we had done it years ago as we have been talking about it for at least a decade. Hoping the current state of the property market does not scupper our plans.

It's like an episode of DIY SOS here at the moment, we are painting everywhere and finishing off all those little jobs.

We’ve sold our home and we’re moving back to the small (and very desirable) Yorkshire town I grew up in - we’ve bought the worst house on the best street as a do-er upper! We’ll live in it as it is for a couple of years while we come up with plans / get planning permission for what we want to do. Very exciting times ahead! We thought we were in our forever home (barn conversion that we’ve completely done up/extended etc) which we bought 8 years ago but couldn’t resist the location of our new house! We’ve made enough £ on our current home to be able to afford to move and will have more or less the budget we need to do up the new house.

We hopefully will finally get our hands on our doer upper early spring and it needs the works doing. First off the whole bay rebuilding, a rewire, starting my kitchen garden and DPs dream workshop building. DPs son wants a viking themed bedroom, whatever the heck one of those is.

Somehow work out a route to install an electric car charger by our garage (which is sadly not bext to our house) Or out the front (although that would need our council to allow a pavement gulley charger, which they currently don't).

We have solar panels. We have an electric car. We have no way of charging it at home.
