We were supposed to be moving house tomorrow, date was agreed start of November and we had already made our application to Nationwide by that point.
Several things have happened since then, including them 'losing' our application in their system and after a review of all the correspondence, they have admitted fault as their case handler didnt do their job properly. Our offer was issued today but we agreed a couple of days ago to put the move on hold which everyone in the chain is (reluctantly and they have made their annoyance at us known!) on board with, as it just wasn't going to happen in time and we still didn't know if they were even going to issue the offer before Friday.
Anyone else had problems with them? Unfortunately we're stuck with them as we have 3 years left on our current mortgage deal with them and it's a good rate which we don't want to lose. We won't be renewing with them when the fixed rate is up though, don't care how good their rates are then!
