We have a bedroom over a single garage so it’s the exact size of our garage. It’s long but also quite thin. There are however a window either end of the room so it’s quite light! I’d like to paint it. I was thinking a bold/dark colour - ie a bold pink, a bold teal, but worried it won’t work in the room.

does anyone have any experience or suggestions of what works for such a room? Do we want dark or light colours

I’d say one accent wall, all dark would be too much. And I’m loving teal at the moment.

Thank you! We have picked an amazing teal
for our living room which I love. Not sure if too much to also use it in the spare bedroom but it’s honestly so nice

I'd second using more than one colour (and more than one tone- as in light/dark). A dark/strong one on just one wall can look handsome, the same colour on all the walls could be just overbearing.

It depends what you like. I've just had ours bedroom painted a lovely dark blue. Some might hate it, but I love it. There's no rule other than what you like.

Stick hundreds of samples up if you're not sure. And take your time deciding.
