Hi All, we are leaseholder (and part freeholders) of a first floor flat and are planning a loft conversion. We are in need of a solicitor who can draft a license to alter and would appreciate any recommendations. I've called many places and it doesn't look like most solicitors know what exactly is required of they have not heard of a license to alter!
Would anyone who has been in this situation before be able to advise if a loft conversion requires a lease surrender and regrant or if a deed of variation will suffice. Loft is demised to us in the lease.
