Extension being build next door

I'm a HA tenant, the people next door are doing an extension, it's has planning permission and HA surveyor come and meet with them before building started.. now I asked how high the new wall would be then said about the same a or 2 inches higher .. the wall to
Me seems higher as a tenant have I got any rights on this ?

Presumably the planning permission was granted based on the wall not exceeding a certain height. You should be able to find the application on the local council's website. If there is a discrepancy I would contact the HA Surveyor who came to the site. The planning department won't necessarily do anything though; I suspect it depends whether it is different enough to affect light.
