Its a combi and the water is fine. The rads don't even get warm and it is reading 3.2 bar on the boiler.
It was serviced in the summer. The guy said its a good boiler. I am chuffing freezing here. I have called him out but wondered if anyone has any ideas because I am out of them

3.2 bar seems a bit high.

Normally they are under 3 bar I thought.

Have you tried bleeding a radiator and letting the pressure down a bit ?

Maybe the reason the pressure has gone so high is because the expansion vessel has failed in some way.

How old is it ? The guy can say it is a good boiler. But I doubt whether he has x ray vision that can go inside the expansion vessel.

Have you even turned the radiators on?

I don't know what to do but as it's a combi boiler then you can get a new one for free from govt. Combi boilers are not environment friendly and consume more energy so govt is trying to replace these old technology boilers with updated ones under the ECO4 Scheme.

If you are on benefits and have a combi boiler then you are eligible for this grant.
i got mine from this company, just follow the link and book a free survey of your property. https://ecogreenboiler.co.uk/
