Sorry, I can’t help OP - but we’re about to order compact laminate worktops too.

Our ex-builder said he’d had previous poor experiences with Worktop Express but when I checked this with a kitchen fitter he said he had never seen a problem. The kitchen fitter said that problems might have occurred with quartz worktops etc but he’d never had any issues with either laminate or compact laminate from WE.

Just thought I’d pass it on!

I like the look of the white marble compact laminate.

Aah right ok! There are some posts on MN that might be useful - comparisons between white quartz and white compact laminate.

I’m going for a very different look so I’m not much help there.
