I have a gas fire (looks like a coal fire)with a 90’s style surround, and it is in a chimney. I’d like to get a gas fire that looks like a wood burner, but don’t know what to do surrounding it. I would like some form of mantle to put pictures and a clock on.
Im not sure how big the hole needs to be, do I line it with tiles, paint it black, put lights in there. Can I see your surrounds?
