HSBC Mortgage- view online?

We are just about to complete on a house with a HSBC mortgage, which was arranged through L&C.

I'm trying to find out whether I will be able to view and manage the mortgage through online banking even though I don't have an HSBC current or savings account. I have tried HSBC chatbot (useless) and googling but to no avail. I'd rather not open a HSBC bank account just to view the mortgage if at all possible.

Yes you can - I just went into branch and they sorted it out for me.

We also have just a HSBC mortgage with no bank account and can access it online.
When the mortgage is completed you will have a sort code and account number for the mortage and can use that to set up online banking.
I would suggest setting up the mobile app also/instead, and use the fingerprint option to log on, cos the log on proceedure is a bit ridiculous otherwise.
