Has anyone successfully used an ultrasonic repellent to get rid of rats?
We have a “friend” in our loft that we could hear scratching first thing this morning, my partner looked in there but couldn’t see anything. Can’t be a bird because they’d be going mad trapped in there, can’t be a squirrel because it’s not that loud so I think it’s a rat.
Our roof was redone this year and there’s small spaces under the eaves for ventilation. We got some wire to keep critters out to patch a hole in our shed so we can put that over these but I’m worried the current rat will them be trapped in our loft having a whale of a time. I thought maybe we could use a repellent to get them out and then cover the holes if they actually work?
I have looked at pest control but it says they lay bait and the rats could die in awkward spaces, I’d rather not have dead rats stinking out the house!
