Conveyancing fees

How much roughly are conveyancing fees to sell and buy? I know this is probably a 'how long is a peace of string' question but just need a rough idea.

We won't need a mortgage and I believe that this is makes it slightly cheaper.

We live in Staffordshire.

£1.5k roughly round here

The value of the properties makes a difference. You can google it giving the value of the properties to get a fairly accurate estimate.
Solicitors will provide written estimates too, dont go with the lowest price just on that basis

Quotes I got in May for a 465k house were 1250-1700 for buying, Northwest.

You do not want to employ the cheapest conveyancer.

They hadn't really risen from when I got quotes in Spring 22.
