Victoria Plumbing Watch OUT!

Hi all,

Just ordered items from Victoria Plumbing, they arrived broken and I found out after two weeks. They will not take them back or exchange. I also ordered a tub and it's defective since it's bent.

Make sure you check out anything from them immediately since they have a 7 day return policy. They are terrible company, I will never buy from them again!

Did you order online? You have more time than that to cancel the contract, and if it’s faulty they still need to address it.

Don't give up OP. They have to repair or replace the loo & bath (given it's within 6 months) unless they can prove it wasn't faulty when you bought it.

In fairness to Victoria Plumbing, I've used them several times in recent years and they've been brilliant. They were extremely helpful in helping me to sort out a fault with my shower that was nothing to do with the manufacturing, and they have always responded quickly when I've contacted them. I do think the onus is on the purchaser to check for any obvious damage as soon as something has been delivered rather than two weeks later.

Do you mean Victorian Plumbing or Victoria Plumb?

I’ve used Victoria plumb but it was all sorted by my plumber and no issues at that point. When I needed a replacement toilet seat they sent the wrong one 6 times! Each time they just told me to bin them - they were wrong shapes all had the wrong fittings too. The 7th one was the right shape but wrong fittings but I was able to use the fittings from one of the incorrect ones. What a waste! I ended up giving them away on free cycle so they didn’t end up in the landfill!

My comments related to Victorian Plumbing, and not Victoria Plum.

We had a similar issue with Victorian Plumbing. They just lie and make things up. Would never deal with them again. Sent wrong product and a broken product. Both returned recorded delivery within 24 hours. They denied receiving them, then said it was more than 30 days since purchase. They had paperwork, receipts, screen shots, photos. Still refused to refund.

I recognise the font in the picture and believe OP is talking about Victoria Plumb but could be wrong

It was Victoria Plum NOT Plumbing. They have taken the bath back that was bowed but still refuse to replace the toilet seat. I have gone through my credit card services to file the complain and they are now trying to resolve the issue.

Oops! Bit harsh on Victoria Plumbing isn’t it. It’s literally in your title 🤦🏼‍♀️

It's Victoria plum OR Victorian plumbing.

I've heard before that 1 of those companies are good and the other, not so much, but can never remember which way round. Very unfortunate for Victorian Plumbing that the names are so similar!

One of those has gone bump hasn't it? The green one is OK.
