Can I see your pics of eggshell walls?

I'm having to get the paint I want ordered to be mixed which is fine but I'm stuck at home with sick DC and can't decide on eggshell or matt, mainly because I can't visualise the level of sheen on an eggshell paint.

All I know is that I need it to be very durable and washable. Apparently Dulux Diamond is good for that but wondering whether eggshell might be an extra comfort of knowing it can definitely be wiped.

I painted my walls matt with eggshell on the panelling/rails/skirts. I can’t imagine using egg shell on walls as I think of it as a woodwork product. Having said that, I’ve seen people add ‘interest’ by painting the same colour eggshell in squares on a matt wall which I quite liked the look of but probably wouldn’t do myself.

Agree, eggshell for woodwork, not for walls.

As others have said, eggshell is for wood.

Dulux Diamond Matt is scrubbable, you don't need to worry about its durability at all.

We have scrubbable matt (easily cleaned and forgiving of plaster blemishes).
