I'm thinking of doing part exchange for a new build on a new Bloor development in my area. Bloor seems to have a decent reputation in terms of how they treat local people and the quality of the build. I'm after a small place with thick walls (mt current place is an 125 year old 2 up 2 down with a paper thin party wall. It's got charm but not great if you want to get some decent sleep!Has anyone here moved into a Bloor or part exchanged? How was the experience?

I moved out of a Bloor townhouse last year.

I would never buy Bloor again. Walls were paper thin (could literally hear conversations from the neighbours!) and there was a list of issues as long as my arm.

It will massively depend on the contractors on site, but unless you speak to people already on the development, then you can't be 100% certain about the quality you'll receive.

A colleague recently moved into a Bloor development and he's had no end of issues either.

So... if you're in the Midlands, I'd probably steer clear 😂

Which estate are you thinking of? Had a look at the ones near us last week and the build quality looked pretty good.

I'm looking at Felixstowe, Suffolk.
