Hello,
We are moving out of our flat in a weeks time but unfortunately our new house isn't ready yet. So, we are going to be going into an airb&b for the time between properties. Does anyone know what we need to do about changing our address for council tax ect? Thank you

You won't be liable for council tax whilst you're at the Airbnb, but you need to tell the council you're moving out the flat on xx date, and into the new house on xx date. I wouldn't bother doing address changes if only for a short period, can you do a Royal Mail redirect to a friend or family's address? And once move in date confirmed to new house, just change everything to there.

Am I missing something?

You ring them and tell them the date you're leaving, the new address and the date you're moving in.

If you don't have a new date yet, tell them.

Same as with all your utilities.

Take readings/photo your utility meter readings on day you leave your flat.
Tell utility companies your readings & ask for final bills.

When you finally move to new place (don’t commit to dates because sh*t happens) you can take pics /readings of yr new meter and pass those onto your new utility company.
Similar for water & council tax.
