Towel Rad Controls

Hi all, possible question for a Plumber but hoping a MN’er has the same set up..

I’m looking for a ‘Smart’ (app compatible) way to control my plumbed in Towel Rads (they are not electric). It’s a Pressurised tank/System Boiler set up.

Currently, the towel rads are operated by an old style time clock in the garage that is wired to them but I don’t always want them on at the same times & often forget to switch them on/off with the controller being in the garage.

The Towel Rads are on a separate loop to the heating so can turn them on/off separate to the heating.

The hot water is the same - operated by another old style time clock.

Hope someone can recommend an upgrade

You can replace the old style timer(s) with a Nest or something similar. No need for any changes to plumbing.

Forgot to mention - You can also fit smart TRV (thermostatic radiator valve) heads to each radiator if you want the ability to control them independently of each other.

Thanks. I did some research & thought so but wasn’t sure if they work the same with Towel Radiators as standard Rads?
