Have just finished reading the other thread on here about the cyber outage. Commiserations to all affected.

Thought it might be helpful to start a thread specifically for those ppl using O'Neill Patient solicitors so we can perhaps share information as and when it comes through.

Our situation: we were due to exchange yesterday and had completion scheduled for 15.12.23. Currently in rental and so worried that this is going to drag on indefinitely which will render us homeless.

Our Case Manager took my call yesterday but didn't have anything useful to share other than they're prioritising those who were due to complete last week (rightly so).

Would be very grateful and interested to hear from anyone else with ONP who may have additional snippets of info to share.

So sorry for everyone who is affected by this.....

I exchanged last week and my completion was meant to be 24th November. Unfortunately, this hasn’t happened yet but I’m hoping it will today.

I don’t think you should be worried if your completion isn’t until 15th December that is a long time away and everything will be sorted by then if you’ve already exchanged. As you can see I’m in a situation where the completion date has actually gone by which is who they are prioritising I’m assuming.

We were due to exchange this week. But obviously couldn't...
ONP general line this morning said it's ok to transfer money into their account now. Despite my case manager saying don't transfer any money until he calls!

Apparently the missed completions from Monday and Tuesday this week are being dealt with before the ones missed last week.

@Bertux123 any news for you? I'm in the same boat, exchanged and was due to complete 24/11, I'm still completely in the dark with what's going on the stress is next level. Hoping you have a positive story to give me hope!

We were due to complete last Thurs 23rd Nov. ONP finally managed to send the payment late on Tuesday afternoon and we will formally complete today🤞

I don’t think the affected system is fully back online but they were using a workaround and had transactions queued up to go.

We exchanged a couple of weeks ago and were due to complete on the 29th Nov. ONP have not been in touch at all and in fact have been extremely poor at communication throughout the whole conveyancing process *they rarelyreturn calls and e mails). I have rang them several times and have managed to speak to the solicitor who says we are on the list for completion and they will contact is when we are next. I wont hope my breath though.
