No drill mounting of a video doorbell - likelihood of theft?

I have bought a Eufy video doorbell but didn’t join the dots about having to screw into my uPVC door - whoops! I’ve read online about using Command strips to mount it instead and wondered what people’s experiences of this was? I suppose my worry is that it makes it easier to pinch?

At least you’ll be able to watch them stealing it !

I wouldn’t use command strips as I doubt they will be weatherproof .

Command strips are definitely waterproof, I used them to attach something to my front door for 6 months across winter and they held up perfectly (and removed easily without a trace!).

I wouldn't worry about it, screw mounting is hardly ultra secure anyway and wouldn't stop someone determined to steal it.
