Victoria Plumbing

Sent back a tap that didnt fit my bath, in the correct packaging, taking photos of it, and sent back as instructed by them by tracking.

Just received an email from them with attached pictures of the supposed tap I had returned badly damaged. There appears to be no damage to the packaging they have pictures of.

Im guessing they dont want to give a refund and trying their best not to.

I would go back to them and dispute this, attaching the photos you took of the item. We’ve used them in the past and had good experiences. Good luck.

Can you call? You might be dealing with an errant employee, you should get them called out for it.

Might be worth a go to argue the toss. Getting a form from my bank first to see how that goes to try and get the money back. Wouldnt hurt to call them as well though i guess. So annoying as we had taken such care with returning it.

I was told a few weeks ago they have gone bust and not to buy anything from them because their site is still selling!

There are a few companies with very similar names. AFAICT Victorian Plumbing are okay and Victoria Plum did go into administration followed by a pre-packaged deal (which are usually just this side of legal). So I guess Victoria Plum are still trading.
As for claiming the item is damaged I'd be straight back at them and if they still won't deal possibly claim off the courier?
