Victoria Plum: non-delivery of bathroom items

Avoid Victoria Plum at all costs! They went bust in September this year and were bought out from administration in a "pre-pack" deal by another company. The terms of the deal mean that they do not need to honour orders taken during and after the buy out.
I ordered a shower door in October (for delivery in November). It was not delivered and there is NO recourse. They simply say they will neither refund nor replace the item. That means that they took the order in October knowing they would not honour it and that is theft in my book. I don't care who the new owners are (a bed company), any company that does that is not one to do business with.
There are plenty of other legitimate plumbing supply companies out there without going to dodgy suppliers.
Do not confuse Victoria Plum with the legitimate business "Victorian Plumbing", which has a good reputation.

That's rubbish. Did you pay for it on a credit card? If so, I wonder if you might be able to get it back.
