Sorry another kitchen thread, but everyone seems so knowledgable on here and I am feeling lost!
We are going to be removing our existing kitchen before extension. We will re-use it in the utility room. It was a Cooke and Lewis kitchen from B&Q about 12 years ago, solid ash fronts and still looks really good. Amazing value when I look back at the cost.
We are super keen to get solid wood doors again due to this. Both our parents have newer and more expensive kitchens, but not solid wood and they look tired already.
Problem is I can't seem to find any solid wood fronts that are not shaker style. I'm really bored of shaker and would like something more modern, think scandi and German styles. Any recommendations?
Our budget is around £15-20k for a medium size kitchen and island. I have designed and priced it up on DIY kitchens (shaker style) and including all appliance’s except fridge/freers its £11.5k for a bespoke painted solid wood kitchen, which seems amazing to me. Just not the style I want!
