hello

im selling a house.
the buyers solicitor are asking for building permissions and structural safety guarantees for work completed 20 years ago before i purchased the house.
(small conservatory, serving hatch, small utility room extension)

my solicitor at the time did not flag any issues at all and it seems that although not needed , the permissions and regularisation certificates were not obtained.

im now in a spot where i cant complete the house sale as i dont have these permissions or certificated, i.e. no supplied by or asked for by my previous conveyancing solicitor.

how can i get this fixed by the solicitor i 1st bought the house with, the cost of regularisation certificated needed will be some money

advice welcomed

thank you
