Hi all!
I’m hoping to get someone to put floating bookshelves on an external facing wall (i.e. the one with the French doors facing the garden). This is in a top floor flat.
Is drilling into and suspending shelves from an external wall risky? Can it increase the likelihood of damp/mould/poor insulation/other issues? I was thinking of ordering extra deep shelves so I can leave a gap between the wall and the books.
The other walls won’t work because of inconveniently placed lighting fixtures/plugs.
