What questions had you wish to have asked the seller?

What's your forwarding address?

GasPanic · 22/11/2023 14:26

Well tons.

Like why did you leave goldfish in the pond without telling me.

But ultimately unless they write something down its pretty futile as they could lie completely and its your word against theirs and they are unlikely to tell you anything negative.

I suppose the two I would ask would be why did you bodge pretty much every repair you attempted rather than doing it properly and why did you plant trees that would grow large in random places right next to each other and immediately adjacent to the walls ?

Well it's not something I would have thought to ask during conveyancing but I'd love to know why the light switches are so badly planned/ non-existent. The former man of the house is an electrician and every time I see him/his family recommend his company on the local Facebook group I cringe.

The downstairs hall light can only be switched on/off downstairs. The middle landing only has a light switch on the middle floor. The landing in the loft only has a switch up there. So you have to either walk up and down the stairs in the dark or go up/down to turn on one light and then back to where you were to turn off the other and then back to where you wanted to go.

Also, the switch for the loft bedroom is outside that room on the landing. Most of the others light switches in the house are behind the doors when you open them to enter a room.

I'd have chalked it up to the houses' age but that can't explain the 5 year old loft conversion. If anyone else views a house during daylight, make sure you look at these things 🤣

Why they left a police helmet in the loft. They weren't even in the force 🤔

Where are the keys to the side gates which were both locked when we moved in.

How is it possible for part of the washing machine drum to be missing and why did you not mention it (when it presumably also tore your clothes to shreds)

What did the police want with your son at 1am one morning three years after you moved out.

Why did you not care that when your decorators painted the whole house in farrow and ball paint that they left half painted masking tape round all the windows????!!!
