Move to Harrow?

Hi! We currently live in nottinghill in a rented flat. We are now planning to buy a house and are considering if we should move to Harrow/ wembley. We are both indians but have never lived in an Indian area before so are not sure. We both work in central London so if we move it will be a longer commute but we are finding the prospect of connecting with community attractive specially as we are both in our fifties now.. Any thoughts ?

I know this is an old thread now, but just to say Harrow might suit you. Although there are lots of Indian families I would still say there are a good mix of cultures here (I’m white British) and everyone mixes really well on the whole.

Commute really isn’t bad from either as there is a fast metropolitan line into Baker St so it’s about 20 mins from Wembley and 30 from Harrow if you’re close to a station and only about five stops.

Lots of great cultural activities here including sports clubs, choirs, local theatre - if you want to message me with your leisure preferences I can point you in The right direction.
