Moved into our house about 4 years ago.
There is a security light by the front door, on the floor, that has never worked. After installing a solar powered light on the wall that was a fail (as it doesn't get enough light to actually work) I decided to see whether I could get the security light to work.
I replaced the bulb but nothing has happened. There are no switches indoors that seem to link to it. Not sure if it should come on at dusk but there doesn't appear to be any sensors.
I did visit the house once when the previous owners were here (a couple of years before we bought it) and I remember it was on then because it lit the front up so nicely.
Anyone have any ideas how you would get this type of light to switch on?
