Shared Ownership Resale

FYI-name change as I have shared this elsewhere, but I do post frequent on here. Secondly this isn't a thread to debate shared ownership.

i've viewed a property on Tuesday and I have to put an offer in by Monday, it's in Nunhead 50% share, £155,000 108 year lease

it is a 1bed and is slightly small, but I'm not aiming for it to be a forever home. It has lost values since she bought it, but I'm told this is normal for shared ownership.

it probably needs a new bathroom and flooring, they are both fine the bathroom just needs some modernising

Yes a 50% stake can be hard to sell, you mention the vendor has lost money. You should expect the same - but its not always the case. You need to give a lot more info on your situation.
