Hello

We have our wall behind the sofa painted in overtly olive, beige sofa, rest of furnishings are wood and cream. The cushions currently on the sofa are two main 60x60 beige with brown stitching and a green and cream geometric pattern one. I love the brown ones and the thinking of another floral or pattern one which includes dusky pink? I don't know the rules when picking cushions how many need to match or can clash. Anyway I love these other ones two so now I'm torn! Would love your feedback!

I'm now thinking that number 3 they might blend in with the wall to much as it's basically the same colour the wall is, hmm 🤔

I really like "1". They're a bit different especially if the rest of the room is quite plain ☺️

Honestly none. You don’t need to go matchy matchy and blend in. Do something with a pattern, but with more abstract colours than simply have one element that matches. Otherwise it all becomes a bit next /dunelm at home.

Agree no 3 is too similar. Think you need a contract. Maybe gree and pink cushions.

We have a mix of patterned and plain cushions. I'm not great with visualising decor so I went to dunelm, grabbed quite a few in similar colours and then put them all together on the floor to figure out if they worked together or not. Some did, some didn't. I just added and took away until I was happy. Then I got home, realised the kingfisher one was my favourite and bought a second. All the others are mix and match.
