I recently painted my whole flat this colour (Royal Circus Craig and Rose) but it’s made my flat, living room in particular, quite dark. But it’s not like a dark colour if you get me.

My bedroom lighting and living room lighting are different and the bedroom feels a bit brighter. I wonder if lighting had something to do with it??

what lighting should I use? I need a crash course/ suggestion as to what ceiling light I should be using to brighten up the place.

I'd use an Opal ceiling light with multiple bulbs, on a dimmer switch. We got a lighting expert when we were doing up a darker warehouse, and that's what they suggested
