We have found a property we like in Wing, Buckinghamshire and wanted to know what the area is like. We have a baby and are interested in any green spaces / parks. Safety/crime of the area. Anything else you think we need to know!

Wing is a small village.

I suspect not many mn users will live there.

I know it reasonably well as I live about 10 min away. It has green spaces but for crime stats, check online.

Of absolutely no use at all, Cafe Zeera is a great Indian restaurant.

And the pubs a bit iffy.

I no longer live in the area but it's not bad, also not very exciting. Quite a lot of traffic for a small village as its on the main route between Aylesbury and Milton Keynes/Leighton Buzzard which would put me off (and unless it's drastically improved in recent years, pretty poor public transport). I do like the area in general though, good road links, lots of open fields etc. Can't comment on schools these days but I'd imagine Wing is still close enough for the Aylesbury grammars.
