Mice infestation at 36 weeks pregnant

I'm in the nesting stage of pregnancy, was cleaning up the spare room and was vacuuming up some black pellets which I thought nothing of. Then after looking closely realised it was mouse poo! We've had pest control in and they've set up some traps but I'm worried in case I get sick and hurt the baby as I've heard you are not meant to vacuum mouse poo due to hantavirus and LCMV. Has anyone else been in the same situation this late in pregnancy and baby has been fine? I shouldn't have googled it but noticed it seems to be mostly American websites that mention the hantavirus and LCMV. Hoping that it's really rare in the UK! Just need some reassurance that everything will be fine!

How are you? I'm in a similar situation - 31 weeks pregnant xxx

have also had similar issue - only 5 weeks pregnant, just seen there are mouse droppings all in our kitchen cupboards. i also realised i ate a rice cake that had been part nibbled by a mouse (only realised when i saw the packet had bite marks all over!). I am feeling so worried I'll have caught something horrible -@Marsbar05 @MumOfHals were you both ok?

Do you live in the southern desert states of the USA?

Its highly unlikely to get Hantavirus in the UK, it requires really hot and very, very dry conditions (why its mostly desert areas, not remotely in line with norther hemisphere or UK weather) and comes from inhaling dried urine dust not touching feces.
