2-3 bed property in Surrey/Sussex/Hampshire

I am really struggling to find a nice 2-3 bed property in this area. Ideally looking for a new build as I don’t want the hassle of renovation or any hidden problems.

needs to have good transport links into London.

I check Rightmove, but are there any other websites?

is now not a good time to search? Will it pick up in the new year?

There is a lot of building going on in the Horsham/Crawley area. Both have decent train lines (Crawley has more than one, as it has Three Bridges).

This feels like an odd question. Are you looking for something unusual like a great price or a grand design? If not, then looking for new builds on Rightmove is easy. I can't imagine any developments being hidden from RM unless they are very unusual.

It's also a bit of an oxymoron considering a new build to avoid hidden problems. See snagging videos.

Yes, I understand about snagging - but with new builds (and I’d only buy one from one of the better rated developers), you are covered by warranty. Whereas with older properties, you’ll have to fork out yourself… so that makes me anxious.

Depends on your budget. There are new builds in Chichester, Pagham, Angmering that I know of, but some of them are developers I wouldn’t buy from.

Horley? Your search area os very broad.

New builds in Godalming, Milford, Eashing and surrounding areas in Surrey. You'd need to have a good budget though.

I love these areas, but sadly they are out of budget! I did wonder whether they’d accept lower offers tho but who knows.

my budget is £365k max

Thanks for all your responses x

It’s always worth asking the developer direct - as the market has slowed down they might offer deals. Look directly at websites for Linden Homes, Cala, Barrat etc
