Provisional offer for housing association property

Hello!

I have a question for those who have been in my situation so myself my boyfriend and my daughter have been provisionally offered a flat from a housing association.

we are new to this so don’t know what to expect. We had to fill out a form with our details confirming we accept the offer.

it had our income on there neither of us are working atm due to being made redundant (we received no redundancy pay) we are currently on universal credit but not claiming for the housing element yet… as we live with my partners mum in an overcrowded flat (hence getting socially housed)

will the housing association know that we are entitled to the housing aspect of universal credit or should I drop them an email to let them know

they are fully aware of our situation

sorry this may seem silly but I hate not knowing

Hi, I have also just been “provisionally offered” a council house and I’m unsure what it means I don’t want to get my hopes up if I’m not going to get it I hate not knowing it makes me feel sick. Did you end up getting the property?

Hi I have been told by a housing association that I should be getting offered a property but no written confirmation yet. They’ve took all my details and Id ect and last I heard was they was sending my application to the manager to be accepted. Does this sound hopeful? Thank you
