Polished pebble living room

Hello

Our living room is polished pebble on the walls, lovely shade of grey we love it but struggling to liven the room up a bit. We have a beige sofa. Fireplace is unused filled with logs, all of the furniture has wood apart from alcove units in white. I love the rustic country look but I need to inject some colour into the room and steer away from all the neutral tones! Any advice on cushion colours? I did try a rusty pink toned pair and it just didn't look right. I've got two big prints above the sofa that have light toned florals, browns, greens and blue.

Any tips I'd greatly appreciate

We have Polished Pebble too. We have the chimney breast painted in Dulux Golden Sands, and an airforce blue sofa from DFS, and lots of green plants and colour in artwork. Ignore the light fittings, we haven’t go around to changing them yet!

We have Pebble Shore on our living room walls - which is a little warmer than Polished Pebble (why I chose it).

I am not really in to matching stuff but tend to work with a limited number of colours and texures for each room. So the colourways and textures for this room are deep purple, grey and natural wood and wool.

Our living room has original thirties oak parquet flooring and oak furniture in a range of shades - a mixture of new Ercol/MADE stuff and some vintage finds.

We have a deep aubergine sofa with a slighly lighter purple wool blanket and purple curtains.

We then have a large grey woven wool floor rug, a grey occasional arm chair (with a deep purple velvet cusion) and grey wool cushion pads on two wooden windsor back chairs.

We also have a lot of plants and books to soften it.
