Anyone got non white (or not very white) quartz worktops with a cashmere/greige kitchen?

Hi. We have cashmere units (stock photo below):

and are trying to decide on a quartz worktop. We initially thought we wanted something predominantly white (as in the picture) but now think we would prefer something less likely to show spillage/smears, either not white at all or a more busy speckled type pattern with white there but not dominant.

(The perils of a DIY kitchen, what you wanted ten months ago isn't what you want now!)

If anyone has ideas or can share pics of their kitchen that would be so helpful. Thanks in advance.

I love the colour of your units! White quartz would go beautifully with them but unfortunately I would be concerned about staining as well. We have a white kitchen with a pale grey quartz work top which looks lovely, luckily every stain has come out of them. I toyed with the idea of having a pale grey shaker style kitchen with a white quartz work top but again was worried about spillages and stains. Xx

Anthracite counters with a ceramic sink of the same colour. Love it - no more water stains!

Family member has a cashmere gloss kitchen but not from DIY with a speckled
quartz worktop. The speckles are a very similar colour to the cashmere. It looks really good and hardly shows any breadcrumbs etc.

I am doing my kitchen currently in Howdens dove grey and want a speckled worktop to hide the mess (currently have a similar speckled worktop and it’s been brilliant).
Cannot convince hubby to agree with my choice as he likes to be able to see the mess to know when it needs cleaning!!! I need to get him to take charge of cleaning!!!

However I would say that I think the white marble effect quartz worktop that I expect us to have will be more aesthetically pleasing! I think it’s the colour contrast. And I would say the same of the family member’s kitchen.

A final thought is that everybody seems to have the white marbled quartz workshop rather than the speckled one which is another reason why want the speckled one! Think having a speckled one will be different. We have to choose very soon and it’s driving me crazy!!!!

Would send you a pic but away currently.

We have similar coloured units with an off white speckled Corian - it's great as crumbs don't really show up! Plain colour is much harder to keep looking clean and tidy. Photos aren't great as it's gloomy here now.

Thanks so much for everyone's comments.

We went to a showroom yesterday and there were a few things we liked, particularly Classic Quartz Fiji. They had a couple of slabs outside that we had a look at (as a tiny square doesn't give you much idea). Just waiting on the quote and hoping it's not too expensive, it's quite a large area.

I feel as though I have been peering at samples and images of kitchens for months so it will be a relief to get it done. Then got to decide about flooring...

Let us know what you decide please.

We've got black(ish) quartz with cashmere units and it works well. It means the units look a warm grey rather than take a browner tone, that's all. We've got a grey/brown faux wooden floor and then brown tiles (with a cashmere esque grout) to blend the two.

We kept the original worktop from the old kitchen (15+ years old inherited when we bought the house) and then remodeled the new kitchen units around the worktop. It was the (independent) kitchen shop who suggested this - I assumed we'd have to get new worktops too, so I was very pleased.

Trying to take photos which aren't too outing.... (And make it appear that I have a clean, clutter free kitchen!) The hob splash back is to the left of the 3rd photo, it's an off white sort of colour) and then we've got black and silver appliances.
