Council wetroom flooring and stick on tiles?

My wet room has that blue polyflor vinyl flooring. I want to jazz it up.

Can I put peel and stick over it?

I wouldn’t. You will end up with mould under the peel & stick. It will stain the actual wet room floor, so would look doubly dreadful once the tiles had to be lifted.

No, peel and stick are not suitable for wet areas (I've done it in my second bathroom; we have to be very careful to mop up spills, it wouldn't work in a wet room.)

I wouldn't particularly recommend then anyway as they do lift at the corners. If you pull them up there is a lot of sticky residue left behind so also not ideal in a rented property.
