Boiler Error

Hi, we have a Bosch Worcester and yesterday we had the error EA 229 - so googled the error which came up with that the flame had gone out. Pressed reset and all good. Today twice we have had EA 227 - flame out again apparently. Any ideas what can we causing this? could it be the strong wind and rain?

thank you

Have a look under the boiler for a white plastic pipe just under 1 inch in diameter. It will be towards the left hand side as you look at it face on.

can you follow this and see where it goes? I’m wondering if it connects into the gutters from your roof (it is used to drain condensate from the boiler) it’s possible that rain water is backing up to the boiler.

Update on this. after resetting it worked for a short while, but then went out again with an 227 error. then after another error reset make a bubbling noise. we've checked the condensation pipe, checked the drain, no blockages. we don't want to mess with the internal components so have booked an engineer. thanks for the advice though, it really did help ❤️ will update after their visit so we can advise of the outcome.
