Advice on cushions etc

Hi all

We have a 1960s house lovely bay window in living room, lots of wood furniture walls are done in polished pebble, beige couch which also has beige cushions on, unintentionally the room looks dull, I have two prints on the Wal behind sofa which are subtle botanical with blue, green and pinks. My issue is that I'm scared of injecting colour, I like the room to look airy and calm I don't want bold colours or anything to loud but I also want some colour and interest, I saw some William Morris patterned cushions on Etsy which looked lovely. I love the cottage rustic look. What colours would you suggest go with light grey walls and wood & cream furniture? Whatever cushions I get I need to make sure they are forgiving material and wash well as I have toddlers.

I have a vase of faux stems, lamp with linen shade, wicker baskets etc, I love gardening and nature so kind of want to add that element to the room if that makes sense!

Thank you

I like the green willow one. Sorry that's my only input! If you could post a photo then it might be easier to give ideas.

As its a 60s house I'd be tempted to go more along a retro feel, but in complimentary colours.

Try 1 or 3 in the link.

It's just a couple of cushions. Don't like them? Sell them on.

Lovely cushions but might look at odds with the 60s feel of the space?
Could we see a pic of the sofa?
