My husband and I have been giving some serious thought to leaving London for a quieter village near Cambridge, but we're currently a bit uncertain about the exact destination. There are some concerns on our minds, especially with regard to the quality of schools in the new area. In London, we're fortunate to have excellent schools nearby. Additionally, given that our children are of mixed race, we do worry about the potential for them to encounter issues related to being perceived as different.
We believe that moving out of London will offer us a higher quality of life and more space for our children to grow. Having family in close proximity to lend a helping hand is also a major plus. Not to mention, property values in the new area seem to offer better value for our investment.
Has anyone made a similar transition from London to Cambridge? Also how did you know it was time to move out?
