For some reason, when the council built the estate, they used the worlds ugliest brick on around 1/3 of the houses. Its like a bleak pale grey with a hint of yellow.. The rest are tile hung or a pretty colour bricks. I'd love them all the be rendered in insulating render in a variety of colours.
The whole village would look so pretty then.

A nice gastro pub.

A Lidl bakery nearby.

We live at the top of a big hill and I’m fed up of climbing the bastard thing all the time. My husband says it’s good exercise 🙄

Same. Would love to be more outdoors-y closer to home but there's no escaping the hill. Still, we have no risk of flooding...

Turning my house round 90-180 degrees clockwise would mean we max out the sunshine in the garden, so for me that would be it.

A kick up the arse at the local secondary school. Nothing major wrong we are in a very nice area and nice kids etc. But it's just not stretching them enough. Basic lack of money , been Ofsted outstanding for over 10 years without any inspection and seems to have dropped the ball. The headteacher is rather wet.
If that was sorted I would be very happy ( as would everyone here).

Don't suppose you are talking about GA are you?

If the local gravel were to close down. We can't hear it or see it but the dust is horrendous.

If the sinkhole that appeared on the main road at Easter was finally fixed and we could stop being a rat run and return to be a nice peaceful side road I'd be delighted.

For the a-hole who owns the village pub to shuffle off his mortal coil. Idyllic location, walking distance from our house, but he runs it like his front room. No dogs, no kids, scares the tourists. Such a waste as it could be a great hub for our community. He is a total wanker. Word has it that he was pensioned out of London by the Krays which is why he has no need to make an income from the pub.
