Where did you move after London?

We are starting to get a tad fed up of London. Despite earning very good salaries we have a pretty mediocre standard of living. So daydreaming of where to head next.

Cornwall? Family and by the sea.
Bath? Beautiful and reasonably priced compared to London.
Glasgow? City life and pretty buildings.

Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Near Leeds (and Manchester is a bit further). Close to Leeds Bradford Airport. Great state and private schools. Easy reach of the dales. Friendly people, beautiful houses.

We moved from Ealing to York and then from York to Glasgow. Been here a year now and truly loving it. We have a huge flat in the west end with 15 feet high ceilings and beautiful cornices etc. Live 2 mins walk from the subway and life is fab.
