Ensuite refit - pink fitted furniture (not sanitary wear)??

Small ensuite, will be set out as per the pink 3d-rendering, with a window above the sink and shower filling the wall where the picture is being taken from.

I saw (different) pink furniture sample in a showroom and loved it, but am now doubting myself!

So would you go with the matt pink?
Or gloss denim blue?
Or gloss white?

In case in influences anything - I'm in a relationship but we don't live together (although he stays over), this is my ensuite and totally my choice, I don't have to compromise with anyone, and intend to stay in the house for at least another 10-15 years (I'm early 50s).

I would always go for white but not gloss white.

In my experience, boring lasts the longest, you can put mad art/ colourful stuff on the walls but keep the permanent fixtures boring.

Having said all of that, I do like the pink though!!!

That's lovely. I'd go for it x

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 20/10/2023 13:10

I'd go for white and coloured towels, blinds etc.

Interesting, I hadn't even thought about matt! Why not gloss?

If you're going to stay in the house for that length of time then go for the one that you like best, if you're getting plenty of light then any colour would work. If it needs to be neutral for future sale then white or wood would be a safer bet and you can accessorise with any colour that you like.

Also, if you think that you might get bored with a colour then it will be much cheaper and easier to have a different look with a complete change of towels and accessories with neutral fixtures than it would with colour fixtures.

Agreed. Go for coloured towels and a white suite.

Go for the pink!!
I would do some modern tiling though to tie it together and make it look fresh

I’d have the pink in a heartbeat - it’s awesome

TheFlis · 20/10/2023 13:22

Go for the pink!!! My friend has similar and it’s beautiful. You can always paint it if you hate it in ten years time.

Dfg15 · 20/10/2023 13:24

Yes, go for the pink. Its lovely 😍

Plump82 · 20/10/2023 13:24

Id go for pink. Love it and wish I had it!

Wallabyone · 20/10/2023 13:25

Pink!

SecondUsername4me · 20/10/2023 13:26

I'm not against putting a fun colour in the en suite, but that particular shade of pink and the shape and style of cupboards is giving "maternity ward bathroom" vibes.

Chasingsquirrels · 20/10/2023 13:26

I'm not even a pink-person but I just loved it.

Pics of actual pink furniture (not rendered) but in a different style (I'm just going for flat slab) from their website.

Sometimes you need to follow your heart not your head. Go pink!

Rinkydinkydoodle · 20/10/2023 13:28

Pink is lovely, don’t care for the blue, not a fan of gloss either.

Chasingsquirrels · 20/10/2023 13:28

And a white rose pink I loved, but can't get the right unit sizes in. If it was this one I don't think I'd even be considering the white.

That is lovely. I would get some nice green towels to complement the pink, and a plant or two.

There will be plenty of plants - my dormant orchids currently live above the toilet, on the bathroom shelf l, the windowsill and on a shelf unit in the shower!

I might have to get rid of some, although the shelf run above the fitted WC will be longer...

Pink! Love it.

I would always go for white and then dress and accessorise the room. I think the pink is really dated. Sorry 😬

realitychequer · 20/10/2023 15:13

The pink is beautiful. I've got white gloss in my en-suite. Over ten years it has lost its white colour and is cream looking.

No need to be sorry! We all like different things 😊

Interestingly though I have found very few pinks available but of those 4 or 5, 2 are new out in this autumn's brochures from ranges which didn't have them before.

That's interesting, not something I'd considered.
