Dark grout

We recently had our bathroom tiled, but I think that the grout is much too dark. It just looks ugly. Is there anything I can do to brighten/lighten this grout?

Yes! Use a white grout pen. Super cheap from Amazon etc

I much prefer dark grout as it hides any marks or discolouration. You could probably have it re grouted in a lighter colour. I’m not sure if the pens would work, they are great for freshening up old white grout, but I am not sure if they will adequately cover dark grout.

Maybe I just have to get used to it. Regrouping is not an option. I could try the whitening pen but then again there is a lot of grouting to cover.
