Converting mains lamp to battery

Hope somebody wiser than me can help.

We have bought a large statue for our garden and it has a lamp with a lightbulb and a mains plug. We didn't buy it for the lamp, it just happens to be part of the thing.

It is at the very end of the garden and there is no mains power accessible there.

Is it even possible to adapt the mains cable to some sort of battery pack/solar power thingy so that we could have the lamp on occasionally? Definitely don't want to run an extension lead the length of the garden. The statue is hollow so anything we did could remain protected from the elements inside.

Yes of course, you can probably buy a conversion kit with a solar charger. Google ac-dc converter and solar inverter.

I didn't even know the correct terms to start searching with.
