Hi,
We are looking at purchasing a flat in the Old Convent in Old Lane, Dockenfield, near Farnham.
Does anyone have any info about the place? I always lived in newly built buildings and I am a tad bit worried that such an old building might come with lots of complications, such as mould, damp, old and dangerous building materials and not great noise insulation ….
The building block looks lovely and the surroundings are stunning, but I am so nervous about the age of the property.
If anyone heard things about it, or lived in it, I’d appreciate and insight as I cannot dig up anything online. Also if you have any advice on what kind of surveys we should ask for that would be also appreciated. I was thinking of getting it checked for asbestos and mould. But I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking it all.
Thanks
